A studio 20Q funded experimental short combining real-life shooting with illustrations and animation to achieve the surreal theme of the script.
Alongside being DP, as head of digital design, I am responsible for managing a team of art directors, illustrators, animators and editors to bring the film to life. The film is set to be out by mid 2024

Heartbreak

A Short student film l directed for my docufction course taught by professor João Quieroga.
Throughout the film, the audio is a recording of our interviewees recounting their experiences with heartbreak and how they dealt with it. Our two actors play a couple, and the props are used to visualize the notion of heartbreak.

A Studio20Q funded short where I had the pleasure to be a gaffer. The setting of the story is in a typical Pakistani household, and I alongside the Director and DOP decided on a very natural motivated lighting for the look of the entire film.
